Inflammation is the body’s response to injury or infection. Inflammation can be acute or chronic depending on the nature of the injury or infection. It can have little or no symptoms, such as those that occur in the arteries when C-Reactive proteins and inflammatory cytokines react with oxidized LDL particles, white blood cells, fibrin, collagen, calcium, and iron concentrate as a part of the inflammatory response. Symptomatic inflammation is most common, but it is not limited to joints, i.e.: fibromyalgia and the differing forms of lupus.
